The ISP group is responsible for the provision and support of internet
and VPN solutions. The group now requires a :-
Cisco IP Routing Engineer
Salary: Negotiable
Based: Vauxhall SW8 5BL
Holidays: 20 working days per annum. Increasing by one day per year
with the company to a maximum of 25 days per annum 20 days per annum
plus

The Challenge
Ø Working as an integral part of a small, but growing &
financially stable ISP, troubleshooting IP issues for ADSL customers.
Ø Provide senior level support on the ISP network 24x7.
Ø Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to customers.
Ø Provide design and implementation to the growing network.
Ø Engage in training and support other engineers.
Ø Provide specialist pre-sales support as required - VPN's,
PIX, VLANS, VOIP.
Ø Design and specify new solutions to customer problems e.g.
wireless LAN's
The Requirements
Ø Experience of core Cisco network, BGP and OSPF in an ISP
environment
Ø Experience of ADSL/Radius Troubleshooting.
Ø Broad knowledge of ISP security issues, ideally to include
FreeBSD - BIND, Exim & Radius.
The ideal candidate will be Cisco certified with experience of
working in a reseller and ISP environment, supporting SME's. It
is also important that you have client-facing experience and be
confident dealing with customers. You will have a "can do"
attitude.
