Viral marketing heralds a revolution for the creative community.
Firstly because ideas and execution are king. A massive corporate
doesn't get to spend millions buying an audience for it's patronising
ads online like it does on TV. They have to rely on ideas to win
them that audience because if the audience doesn't like a clip,
they won't pass it on to anyone they know, and it will wither and
die.
Secondly because we have realised that to make a viral that really
works you have to do it without a client (look at Budweiser and
John West: those ads were made first, and THEN sold to the client).
We just make good viral pieces and the clients will come and buy
our work - because our content will be what powers their campaigns.
Last, but not least, because virals are democratic. It doesn't
matter who you are or what your position - if you've got a good
idea and we make it, people will pass it around and you'll get paid.
If you work in the creative industry and have great ideas no client
has had the balls to make, or just have viral ideas but no way to
get them made, let
us know.
